Humans Are Awesome!

What are you training for? Stand up! GET UP! Ask yourself “What do I really want to achieve?” Not what car you wanna own, not the house, not the jewellery or the recognition from other people. WHAT DO YOU WANT? If it doesn’t scare you then you’re not thinking along the right lines. Imagine a world where ANYTHING is possible! Then ask yourself again… “What do I want to achieve?” One you figure that out hold onto it.

“Never give in. Never give in. Never, never, never, never—in nothing, great or small, large or petty—never give in, except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force. Never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy.” ~ Winston Churchill

When you are next in the gym, on the running track, in your driver’s seat at the start line, in the ring waiting for the first bell… Close your eyes and remember what it is you REALLY WANT! Forget about your competition, forget about all the people around you, create a bubble around yourself. This is your space, your place to put in the work. Forget about all those that may or may not be better, more distinguished, skilled or cut. Think about who you were yesterday and hit it harder, faster and stronger. Challenge yourself and only yourself! Greatness is not defined and has never been defined by what other think of you but rather what you think of yourself.

“Is it so bad, then, to be misunderstood? Pythagoras was misunderstood, and Socrates, and Jesus, and Luther, and Copernicus, and Galileo, and Newton, and every pure and wise spirit that ever took flesh. To be great is to be misunderstood.” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

“Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds.” ~ Albert Einstein

“You were born with potential.
You were born with goodness and trust. You were born with ideals and dreams. You were born with greatness.
You were born with wings.
You are not meant for crawling, so don’t.
You have wings.
Learn to use them and fly.” ~Rumi
